    Wow that's an awesome battleship(too bad the Navy doesn't use them anymore though :buck:).

    Down in San Diego they have an aircraft carrier called The Midway

    That's an old picture, they've added several planes onto the flight deck.

    North in San Fran they have an old WW2 Submarine called the Pampanito

    Going on that successfully deterred me from ever wanting to be put on a submarine. It's so damn cramped. There's barely any room to move around and the sleeping quarters didn't look so great.

    Ya know its a dam shame.
    They bring them out of mothballs, spent millions refitting and upgrading them.
    Use them for just a few years then decommision them again.
