Yeah, I play Bejeweled on my netbook. Despite it's shitty specs, it works really great and it's fun. :)

Just would be nice if there were a version for WP8. Such is life. :p

Ok. I am getting tired of the prompts to install and they are getting pushier, yesterday it gave two large choices of "install now" and "install later today" Fuck, I had to look for the small print to avoid both.

Today, Witcher crashed. It could have been anything, but I am guessing it was partially due to being an older game and partially due to Microsoft eventually sending me a message basically saying "Windows 10 will fix alllll dat shit, yo."

So other than them prying to see if I am a child porn collector, which I have no worries about, what are the major negatives? Should I keep rebelling or just give in the the bastards and install what is already looming in my 'puter?

I've stopped all windows updates on my pc, and Physically blocked almost all their domains on my router.

I can live with the risk of not updating verses the "Fixes" windows provides.

there is a useful prog on the net that tells you which"updates"should be removed to stop win10 trying to upgrade techne.alaya is the reading material you may find usefull(with .net on the end:))

You can easily uninstall the updates that add the nags, or you can install it.

I think it should be OK. It does give you the option to roll back for 30 days if you're not happy.

Microsoft is getting really forceful with the W10 updates / nagware in Windows 8.

It's nearly every day now that I'm hiding one. Good thing I do not allow any updates, except security updates, to be installed.

KB3035583 this is the little win devil that will keep reminding you to upgrade.

Neither do I, I'm just saying I have my updates set to manual and at least once a week there is a new "recommended" update. If you click the "More Information" link it takes you to the knowledge page where it clearly states it's for W10 or W10 compatibility. :p

    Sneaky buggers.

My Chrome browser locks up all the time now . . . Is this a dirty MS trick to make me abandon Chrome and run all butt hurt to Edge? (or whatever MS calls their browser . . .)

Or, is there a way to get my beloved Chrome back to normal?

I have disabled most extensions and it helped a little bit for a little while, but amazon and fb lock it up like a federal prison on high alert.

Sorry bud, I haven't used Chrome since they removed the ability to pin websites on the new tab page. :(

What you can do to try and debug the issue is to view Chrome's task manager and see if any extensions or plugins are contributing to it.

It sped back up on its own, but I will keep that link handy, just in case.
