Sometimes it just nice to watch the sun set and sip on something smooth and alchoholic or if you've got guests for you're entertaining for dinner it sets the pace for the evening... 2 of my favorites are:

    Pepermint Martini (Quick and easy):

    • 5 ounces high quality vodka
    • 2 ounces of white crème de menthe
    • 1/2 ounce of peppermint schnapps
    • Mini candy canes
    1. Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously.
    2. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish each with a candy cane.

Or something a bit more sophisticated... Pom Royal:

    4 ounces champagne
    4 ounces pomegranate juice
    Orange for garnish

    1. Pour 1/2 of the champagne into a champagne glass or chilled flute.
    2. Top with 1/2 of the pomegranate juice.
    3. Garnish with an orange wheel.
