Whats important in a relationship to you?
Nice Ass, nice wallet?
Pretty face, tight body?
someone trustworthy?
someone to stay with for ever, or a limited time?

or do you just prefer someone you can look up to and call "Friend"?
someone simply for a one-night stand, or some one you can call at 6am when you cant sleep?

for me.. besides physical attraction.. i have to say respect and trust.. when you respect your partner- you wont cheat on them.. and when you trust your partner-you wont be jealous.. making the relationship last..

Indeed my friend..Speaking of catch n release
after a half day of wakeboarding yesterday
we cast netted a bunch of bait and ended up
catching 2 sailfish and a few Mahi Mahi to
finish it off with a 350 lb Tiger Shark all
about 10 miles offshore trolling live baits
We caught the Tiger because we slowed up and
let the baits sink then all the sudden BOOM
line was going off the reel like mad!

I suppose it all depends on what you want out of the relationship, whether you just want a one night stand i.e. just sex or whether you want a relationship with them. If its sex then your going for the looks and the body but if your looking for a relationship then its got to be someone your compatible with, i.e. the same tastes in certain things, the same values. For me they would have to have a good sense of humour, like animals and music. There used to be a British TV show called 'Blind Date' not sure if its still going, but most of the time someone would pick a partner on the show and you could bet 9/10 they would'nt really get on with each other afterwards. It would be interesting to know the statistics for where people actually met the person they later married, a lot of people marry people they've met in work, although I don't think that's a good idea. You got a problem at home you bring it to work, you got a problem in work, you bring it home :'(

 

This is a little but I'm glad I'm married.
Being single these days is sorta dangerous
with all the nasty STDs that are out there now adays.
It's not like when I was younger and all ya needed was a shot.
and a week later your fine.
People are dieing out there because of unprotected sex.

I have to be able to trust her and be able to talk to her. But she also has to be good looking. The only thing I can do without is the money. I can manage on my own.

Seriously though, there's a certain point where personality almost becomes their outward appearance. I think the better you get to know a person the better they look as long as they have a nice personality, at least that's what it's like to me. Still thuogh, beauty gets your foot in the door.
